I got Far Cry 4 today... impulse buy... don't know when i will have the time to play it what with GTA V, Halo Collection, Evil Within and more not even finished yet

As I said in the other thread, I battered off The Evil Within earlier but will be straight onto the secrets/other difficulties hopefully that should see me through a few more week when GTA5 and FC4 have dropped to the usual £30 I've been getting my XO games at of late.

My plan being .... get one myself and snag the other as a prezzie off good old mum.

I'm playing the Sunset Overdrive free for a day thingy right now. Waiting for the next level to load in. I gotta say it's not my cup of tea, I recon me boy will like it but it does seem a little 'try hard' at the 'mo. Yo we're having fun woot woot. Hmm. Am I too old?

Yes, you are too old, it seems more fun than it really is. IMO anyway.

I enjoyed it more as it went on, I also liked multiplayer. Zombies ate my neighbours done it all first though.

Received my XB1 today and I'm very happy with it.

I went for the white one, it looks much better than the black model.
Thank God it's quieter than the old 360.
The only disappointment is that my download code for Forza 5 hasn't arrived yet, as that is the game I wanted to play straight off.

A few questions for you guys.

1 - It only has a 500GB HD so I'm going to need to purchase an external one.
Are there any recommendations or will any hard drive do?

2 - Does anyone own Plants VS Zombies: Garden Warfare and how active is the multi-player on it?

3 - I've never played any Halo game, do you guys rate The Master Chief Collection?

4 - How good is Diablo 3 on XB1?

in answer to your questions

1. I got the Samsung 2TB external HDD from koopas advice. It was cheap for 2TB small and self powered.
2. I don't own it.
3. I rate the Master Chief Collection stupidly highly. I am a fan of Halo's campaigns and this is the ultimate way to experience them. Bear in mind that all games in this set run at 1080p 60fps even Halo3 and 4.
4. Really really good.

I've got plants vs Zombies with EA access. I didn't have to activate anything just messed about on multiplayer for a while. It was fun.

Fans of Pinball FX2 might want to check out The Pinball Arcade. The initial download is free and comes with Tales Of The Arabian Nights. I prefer this game to FX2 because it features digital reconstructions of real tables. It's essentially a commercial version of pinMAME.

Things to note:

It's launched with all the tables from seasons 1,2 and 3.

When buying table packs you need to buy the Pro pack in order to access the table's operator menu. This costs more.

Achievement hunters be aware that achievements are tied to full seasons. This will cost a lot of money, the same as a full price game at least.
