The more dead rising 3 I play the less I'm enjoying it. Not a bad game at all but it seems to have been simplified way to much. Save anywhere, increased inventory, combo weapons anywhere, don't escort survivors - all that's left is killing zombies. It's fun but the novelty wears off after a few hours, I liked planning out my route, working out how to get the best weapons and health, playing through multiple times to see everything. The city is a bit bland and you spend too much time outside messing around with vehicles. As I said, fun but shallow, only half the game DR2 was.

Just about finished with titanfall, unlocked all the weapon attachments for the achievement and regened. It was a pain as some of the guns are useless and put you at a disadvantage, the titan plasma gun and pilot snipers were not fun to use :)

I got FIFA14, DR3, AC:Black Flag and Titanfall

Playing the heck out of Titanfall at the moment, I seem to have the urge to get all the achievements.

Fifa is fifa, its football, great to just pick up and play.
DR3 Enjoyable zombie blood bath, not really been playing through much of the story line
AC:BF Very enjoyable, I love the series and this one is great

I'm looking to get Watch Dogs in the next week or so

I'm pretty much using everything within the machine, we are using Kinect Fitness for workouts, the kids play rivals, using the BR player and various on demand video services (Netflix, amazon, crackle, vudu, xbox video et al)

Cheers man, I should be picking it up this week (just need a cheque to clear)

Been eyeing online videos on youtube and twitch. they convinced me as I was debating if it was worth it.

Been playing some Forza 5, while it plays well and looks good, I'm just finding it all a bit dull tbh.

I found it slightly less dull than Forza 4, but I still feel it holds your hand through everything way too much. The dullness on 5 sets in when you have to do re-do the track for the 5th time in a session simply because there's not many in the game. The usual Forza DLC shenanigans don't help matters either. Still, it was free with the console for me, and I got a fair way through the many championships before the boredom really set in.

Yay got an update today, the xbone now signs in as me straight away. I've now got the Sky TV guide on my tab and I've downloaded two free games. Well happy. 10/10 Microsoft, never ever thought I'd say that.

Yeah, the repeated tracks is what stopped me from playing it loads. I like the game a lot - handling is great and it plays really well once I got the mechanics of the game down but after a couple of the sessions I felt like I'd seen all there was to see track wise which was a tad disappointing :(

Forza Horizon 2 on the other hand I really can't wait for. I loved the demo of the first game but held off getting the full game as a sequel was rumored for so long so I'll be getting that at launch.

Well I bought crimson dragon but I've not had chance to play it. Did try Spartan assault though......hmm. I assumed two player on screen would be available for co-op not online only :( The game seems ok but having to pay out money for guns is a joke. The starting weapons always seem to run out of ammo before the end of the level and of course achievements are geared towards gold medals and using every gun i.e. buying stuff. It's not pay to play but there is a whiff of pay to win about it. Can't complain for free but if I'd paid £12 for it I'd feel robbed, maybe enough to write a strongly worded email or complain on a forum or something.

Good to see games with gold is now on Xbone, although halo doesn't interest me but I did try that Max brotherhood game, its not to bad but would but would be a lot better suited to the Wii u gamepad imo.

I also got the titanfall season pass, the new maps seem pretty decent from the quick go I had but Mario kart is taking all my time up at the moment, once I tear myself away ill be back on it :D

Halo Spartan assault, it controls like Smash TV but not half as much fun.

I'm enjoying crimson dragon so far, granted it's early days but it looks good and plays ok. I like evolving the dragon and feeding him up, my XB1 needed a quota of Japanese goodness.

Spartan assault is a bit frustrating though, online mode is just timed levels against the flood. Everyone loves the flood right, we really can't get enough of them :)
