As much as I enjoy playing retro games, I would have to say that GTA V is the most amazing game I have ever played. The attention to detail in this virtual world is astonishing and I just can't see me getting bored of exploring the island. The missions are great fun too and Trevor is a legend!

Quazatron on the Spectrum. Quite, quite brilliant.

Vulcan on the Spectrum.
Playing that against my brother is why I fell in love with strategy games.
Although he always made me play as the Axis forces, so it was impossible for me to win as soon as Montys 7th Army turned up.

I have to say I got the most fun out of Donkey Kong 64. Sure, it was a "collect-a-thon" and more a "Banjo with apes" but that's what I liked about it.

Crazy Taxi is just about everything I could ever want from a game. There's been a few lazy and/or censored-poor ports over the years, but the Dreamcast version validates the console for me single-handedly.

Horrible question, but the first game that jumped into my head was Battlefield 2 Modern Combat Multiplayer on the original xbox....
Simply the finest multiplayer experience I have ever - or ever will - have
There are too many idiots online now, but this game was played by like minded people and if a team killer turned up - they were quickly savaged.
Very sorely missed.

Since i have a gun to my head i'd go with the first game that came into my head, which was Zelda a Link to the Past (SNES)... Even just looking at the box art makes me happy...

Great choice - one of my faves, too!PostieDoc wrote:Vulcan on the Spectrum.

Very nice blend of games so far. About the variety I am not surprised, but the fact that I don't know some of them has really surprised me, I've even had to look them up. Which is great! I shall be trying some of them out. Probably loads of classics Ive missed out on over the years..

Mr. Do! came very close but Ocarina of Time on the N64, absolutely stunning.
