'The whispered World' - It's a great little fantasy based point and click adventure, nut it has the most annoying lead character you will ever hear. It's a whiny, southern US boys accent, that I had to turn off after 10 minutes of playing.

Forgot about the annoying over the top welshness that sounds like Rhod Gilbert on Ni no Kuni thingy and the white witch on the ps3..beautiful looking game but that voice really annoys me.

Didn't spoil the game but looking back some of it was cringeworthy....."The master of unlocking"
we did mention it. Page 1.

I'd rather Sega had'nt given Sonic a 'voice' on the Dreamcast and Bulletstorm's ohh look how sweary i am just grated, but niether killed any interest in the games.Completed Bulletstorm despite the twaddle.

This line is burnt into my brain.

He/she/it was awesome. Nothing would strike fear into my, more than some sort of mutant Bat with a voice like Mickey Mouse.

"I don't wanna die...."

Shut up G.

Forbidden siren stands out. The characters were obviously Japanese and the game had used some sort of photo capture for the faces. The voices were just American drawl, it was so jarring I couldn't continue playing.

The ever present Nolan North was starting to grate a few years back.

personally agree with final fantasy 10, it was just awkward. I don't agree with resident evil though, its part of the charm imo, I love all the cheesy, almost b-movie-ness of the original. yea its amusing but it sort of adds to it I reckon.

Don't think anybody's mentioned Slippy Toad from Starfox 64/Lylat Wars yet have they? Not just bad, but hilariously bad.

Ditto for 'Elvis' the alien from Perfect Dark

Look on the bright side, at least you can shoot him down  Peppy too, he annoyed me and had to pay the price. I miss good Star Fox games...

It didn't spoil it but the voice acting in Snatcher is poor.

As a big fan of RPG's, the worst for me has to be Tidus's awful American accent in Final Fantasy 10. On the opposite end of the scale is the voice acting in Dragon Quest 8 which was simply superb.

I found Yuna and Lulu much harder to enjoy. They just sounded so wooden and unnatural, and in Yuna's case rather vacant. I didn't mind Tidus so much, or Wakka.
