Titanfall Beta

Post by markopoloman » Sat Feb 15, 2014 8:32 pm

Anyone on here playing the Titanfall Beta on PC?

This is damn good fun! Might even pre-order it now that I have had a chance to run around in a Titan and kill lots in a mech :D

Ive been playing it on Xbox One and it certainly is fun but the lack of an SP mode might put me off buying the final product.

Still waiting for my PC code.....

Seems though it will be going open like the X1 version in the next 24 hours.

I swear, I must be the only person that really doesnt like this one at all.

Not that this fact is surprising, of course.

Yep in this case I think you are!

Even people who wouldn't give any other FPS the time of day are saying how fun it is!

Really enjoying the beta

Its fast pace keeps it interesting (even in the mechs) small amount of weapons as well, all seem evenly powered (apart from the smart gun, which aims for you). Very limited opportunity to have players who camp in one location too and snipe you, as you have a bunch of bots dropping in and running around.

Naah, there'll be loads who don't like it. They're mostly just too polite to butt in on topics where their opinions aren't wanted.

Downloaded it for my son on his Xbox One, he loves it, I have had a few goes myself and must admit it's good very good if a little easy. The enemy bots are very easy to kill with the Ai seemingly not very good, I will be buying it for my son plus I may get it on my gaming pc which I am currently putting together.

The game has been hyped for so long there will be an inevitable backlash from some people, I wish people would use that 'energy' to do something productive with their lives!

I was watching a video on YouTube comparing Titanfall on Xbox One and PC... The Xbone looked great - but the PC blew it away. And left me pondering if I upset the missus and get a PC as my next gaming device!

As for the game, the small sided matches really isn't impressive.

My son has it on Xbox One plus I have it on PC, it is a welcome break from BF4 or Cod Ghosts, a different slant on my shooting needs.
