Your favourite Playstation games
Hi all, we're looking to get a bit more Playstation coverage in the magazine, particularly as the machine is 20 years old this year. To that end, we'd like to know your five favourite Playstation games! If you could order them 1-5 with your favourite at the top, that'd be very helpful.
I'll kick off with mine:
1: Wipeout 3 Special Edition
2: Metal Gear Solid
3: Soul Blade
4: Silent Bomber
5: Breath of Fire III

Not really but then I don't really think that Res Evil 1&2 play well either - but I still love the atmopshere the game creates.retrojc wrote:Do you think this one still plays well?Bub&Bob wrote: 4. NIghtmare Creatures

Doom - Williams (best version bar none)
Tekken 1,2 and 3 - Namco
Disruptor - Interplay (Great early FPS)
Dino Crisis 1 and 2 - Capcom
Resident Evil series - Capcom
R-Type Delta - Irem
Mass Destruction - ABC Games

Im aware that some of these were Saturn games also but in my opinion the PS1 version are superior.

Re: Your favourite Playstation games
Fair enough, I found Nightmare creatures to be a great game when I played it back in the day, but now the 3D worlds just don't hold up. The controls are more fluid though, no doubt.Bub&Bob wrote:Not really but then I don't really think that Res Evil 1&2 play well either - but I still love the atmopshere the game creates.retrojc wrote:Do you think this one still plays well?Bub&Bob wrote: 4. Resident Evil One, not great, 2 and 3 with Dual Shock support play well, but you need to be on a CRT tv and the controls takes some adjustment; Resident Evil 2, for me at least is exceptional.
