Yea I booted it up yesterday after reading this thread, on my gameboy colour though. I thought I had cataract's when I stuck batteries in the beige brick.

Yep Double Dragon on the Gameboy is superb, plays very well.

I will give Super Mario Land II another go but with the first one i just prefer the smaller graphics and have much more of a nostalgia boost playing that one.

I played through the whole game on an emulator recently. Although the first few levels are great, the awful pixel-perfect jumping that dominates from the middle of the 3rd level onwards isn't at all enjoyable.

No shouts for gauntlet 2? I thought it was an amazing conversion. Felt really good to play. And the warrior could move and throw axes, bonus.
