Is Poison off Final Fight a trap?

Post by Shinobi » Sun Dec 29, 2013 6:36 pm

Poison has long pink/purple hair and wears a black peak cap with a chain-link design, a skimpy white mid-riff revealing tank top and a pair of skimpy denim cut-off shorts and high heels, Roxy has reddish hair

Roxy and Poison where designed by Akira Yasuda and he said the characters are normal females..

The creator of Street Fighter V said they were changed to transsexual females due to the suggestion that "hitting women was considered rude" by some pedantic losers on the interweb who would spend 3 days trawling the Arcades for a similar game where you hit women just so they could make Capcom a smarmy comment as they finish into their crusty sock and the concern that feminist groups would sue. :D :) 8)

She's now a women again in Street Fighter X Tekken and the woman who voices Alexia Ashford does her voice

So is she a woman

It's such a trap that Ben Dalish wrote the music.

I've never doubted that both were women all along despite Capcom USA's excuse that it's okay to hit transsexuals but not women. They're hot no doubt about it. :D

Can't they be hot transexuals?

That's what I'd always heard, was that Poison is transexual, at least in a generally accepted sense among the community anyway.

I go with that idea too. I know an awful lot about traps, and Poison has never been one in my view.

It's laughable that Capcom came up with the most ridiculous and stupid justification (when none was even needed) for beating up baddie women in their game and then it became accepted as fact by the fans and even Capcom themselves.

I still call BS on the whole thing. In any case, Poison is smokin' in SFxT (and soon to be in Ultra SFIV)

I don't doubt she was originally drawn as a woman, but then we still have Mario instead of Jumpman so I can live with the revision.

Besides, there's loads of women in games so its nice that there are at least some trans characters. Who's to say she's not moving from female to male since she was a woman originally? That also accounts for Capcom changing the gender when referring to her. Lots of people go through this as adults, why not Poison?

And if you think she's hot, does it matter if she's male or female? She'll still be hot to you either way, but you don't have to pursue that further. Its ok to admire from afar (though that might be considered stalking)
