Gods was brilliant, Magic Pockets was above average, speedball 1 was horrible, Speedball 2 just seemed like a mad button bashing pot luck modern football game, Xennon 1 was below average, Xennon 2 was average but pretty with HORRIBLE music, Z is a game that never grabbed me due to the amount of RTS games that were just too bloody good at the time it was released...

So, it has to be Gods then :D

One of the reasons I bought an Amiga was for Speedball 2 :D

Speedball 1 and Xenon 2 (both played on DOS) were ok, but speedball 2 wins out by a mile!

How about a game screenshot quiz? Amiga, DOS, Megadrive and Commodore 64.

For me, it will always be The Chaos Engine. Love that game, and especially with two players.

I've just downloaded it in the Steam sale. Will give it a go when I get the chance. Looks pretty good although the reviews appear to have expected some sort of HD update with lots of new features. I'll be going in open-minded

I always liked the look of Gods, but didn't like the game itself. Chaos Engine for me i think

Gods ace but Speedball 2 on the Amiga is the pinnacle of Bitmap Brothers in my opinion, at the time it was fantastic, it remains fantastic today. Chaos Engine also deserves a mention, the art direction was superb

+1 for me on the original speedball, sunk many hours into that on the ST. I also prefer the original xenon i think, though was very hard.

I had Cadaver on ST. I found it too difficult and didn't give it much playtime.

It's on my list of titles to revisit some day.
Thoughts and prayers.

Yea Cadaver was rock hard, harked back to the spectrum greats. I always intended to return to that game aswell.

Maybe with cheats.....

I guess Chaos Engine but even that's not one of my favourite games. I got it with Syndicate when I bought my Amiga and so it got overshadowed. Speedball 2 never did much for me. The viewpoint was too close.

I liked their graphic style though.

Gods (MD version) faster than the Amiga/ST versions, though lacking the superb title music :-( and more colours on screen.

Play via emulation on PSP, as seem to recal Sega Europe had issues with original MD release?.

Later releases, like Z on PS1 an that WW2 RTS game on PC, i never really took too at all.Felt very 'sterile' for a Bitmap Bros game somehow.
