First Game You Ever Completed?

Post by SpockIOM » Wed Dec 18, 2013 8:39 am

Sorry if this is a re-post, but I wondered if you can all remember the very first game or few games you ever completed.

Mine are Duck Tales on NES, and Double Dragon (2 player co-op) on Master System.
Yours sincerely, the little voice in your head that talks when you read.

Not entirely sure but it might have been Great Giana Sisters on the C64.
Ken sent me.

Sonic 2 on the Mega Drive - still haven't seen a better ending sequence than that one all these years later.

Crash Bandicoot 2, I had played a few games at that point but this is the only one I know I had completed.

The first ones I remember finishing were The Secret of Monkey Island and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: The Action Game (both on the Amiga). I had extensive help from a guide for the former, though. Indy must have been the first one I completed without any recourse to cheats or guides.

Pac Man or Asteroids on the Atari 2600 the screen just dims and goes into the demo mode on both games.. I also finished Pitfall 2 Lost Caverns and Dodge Em both Atari 2600.. Couldn't finish any of them today

G Man, Terra Cognitta and Fingers Malone C16 where the first games I finished that actually had endings

I think Pac-Man on the 2600 for me too. I don't remember the screen dimming though? I think the score goes up to 999,999, resets to 0 and then the game restarts :? Maybe Laird, or another knowledgeable Atari type, know what happens and can shed some light.

Otherwise it's probably Bruce Lee, Ghostbusters, Danger Mouse in Double Trouble, Beach Head or something else on the C64!

Not sure. Probably Commander Keen 5 or Galactix. Maybe Duke Nukem.

wow... good question. I honestly don't remember. It might have been either Star Blazer on the Apple II, or Chivalry... later on I know I beat a lot of the Nintendo game watch games like Octopus, Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong jr, Oil Panic, Greenhouse, Mickey and Donald.. but I'd guess Star Blazer was my first, or maybe the adventure game Transylvania.
