Top 100 video games

On Challenge+ TV right now. If Doom or SFIIce aren't number one (and they won't be)? it's wrong. It's an american version by the looks of it. I'll not be watching it but I know some of you might be interested

If it's US centric then SMB3 will more than likely be #1.

Save yourself the inevitability and watch something else... Poirot maybe?

Is Challenge+ a pay channel? It wasn't on Freeview Challenge channel.

It was awful. It was filled with twentysomething Americans talking affectionately about video games they've never played.

I bet you any money it was a Nintendo game, probably Mario.

Dunno - didn't watch the rest of it. I get the feeling they didn't do the whole 100 in one program as it wasn't on for long enough. I'm guessing Super Mario Bros. 3 or Mario Kart (boring) maybe.

It's a series. I've linked it to record because I like watching these things regardless. And Morgan Webb's on it, and I've missed watching her on games shows since I moved back from the US. I'm sure it'll be dominated by Nintendo games by the top 20, but what the heck, I love a list.

Why is everyone acting so appalled at the prospect of a Nintendo game coming first? Seriously, why would that in any way be a bad thing?

Was kind of thinking the same thing, to be honest. We all know these list shows generally don't go far back, and are 9 times out of 10 going to stick with the obvious choices.

Because Nintendo do not/have not made a game that should be anywhere near a top 5
