Smegodrive ones always felt clumsy and rough around the edges next to the snes (much the same debate as the aladdin games for me)......sound was the biggest turn off though, I know some people disagree but the snes pad was also perfect for the sf games, the cheap plastic 6 button side by side sega pad just didn't cut it imo.

The snes versions just had that extra spit and polish.
I prefer the Sega Aladdin to the Capcom Aladdin tbh.

^ that's putting it politely!

The Amiga had some great games but really struggled to get any good fighters.

Speedball 2 ftw :)

The Amiga version of IK+ is excellent too, but I suppose that's a different era.

Sf2 on spectrum was best of the lot. Body blows wasnt the worst beat em up ever. That was Mortal Kombat.

I'd give SF2 on the Spectrum 10/10 for technical achievement. Even though it can't hold a candle to the 16-bit versions graphically, it still looks downright amazing for something that's running on a Spectrum. Unfortunately, the gameplay just isn't there and it's a particularly tedious multi-load. It was definitely time to move on if the Spectrum was still your main games machine when it came out.

SNES could play SFIIt straight out of the box with all attacks, the MD could not (without extra bespoke controller) and therefore loses instantly

So pathetically wrong it's actually funny!

You do realise the poll is comparing Turbo edition on the Snes and not the standard one. So your argument is totally invalid.

Plus if you select normal mode on the Snes version it is essentially CE anyway. So the Snes version automatically wins.

Kasumi Ninja is surely the worst. Another fine Jaguar game

You do realise that I clearly point out that if you disagree you are wrong? Everything else is just gravy to me. Invalid that and maybe get banned and set up another account again?

Not my main machine no. I stayed with it till it died but I was very much all about the Megadrive quite a way by that point. I agree though it looked the part thats for sure.
