I-pad. It's not a console in any way shape or form. Someone had to say it.

I just figured someone was just saying it to get a reaction and ignored it.

5 pts - PC Engine - As soon as I saw R-type running in an import shop, this had to be mine, once I added the CD-Rom drive, it has stayed hooked to the telly ever since.
4 pts - Snes- Just so many great games and memories, it partnered the PCE well for years.
3 pts - Atari Lynx - With so many superb arcade conversions, this still gets a lot of use today, and with modern batteries it is a revelation.
2 pts - Nintendo 64 - Some amazing games from Rare puts this above much of the crowd for me, not the PAL machine though that was horrible.
1 pt - Nintendo DS - Probably my most used hand held, the XL model especially, nothing like winding down in the evening to a bit of Animal Crossing.

The Amiga isn't a console, unless you are talking about the CD32.

My list:

5 - PS3
4 - PS2
3 - Playstation
2 - VCS
1 - I haven't played on any other consoles for more than 5 seconds, as most didn't have joysticks so were unusable.

You tend to get a reaction when mentioning an iOS device on a gaming forum. It's not a proper gaming console!!! yells, aaarrrgghh, sacrilege, heracy, pulling hair out etc etc.

If it was computers or all gaming systems I would not have a problem TBH, but it was specified as consoles only, and I think its fair to say its not a console.
