Current stuff I don't care letting go unless its RPG as those things are so damned expensive I must have most of the PS3 RPG's even keeping hold of my PSP RPG's and my Jap Pop n Twin Bee collection though I know longer have a PSP

Old stuff I can't bear to part with!! My Snes stuff I'd never get rid off and I still have my Jap Megadrive collection I got from KT Consoles in the 90's both Super Shinobi's, Devil Hunter Yoko etc, its only recently that Nokgod very kindly gave me a Megadrive

Can understand you don't want to get rid of a game you had as a kid but when someone has 4 variations of one game etc that seems OTT

No, because I never think about selling games in the first place. I play, and then collect. When I'm old and grey and my arthritis is kicking in, then I'll contemplate selling them.

Who's up for a game of Steve Davis spot the difference.

Personally Im the opposite, I collect stuff, sell it all off then wish I hadn't 6 months later, done it with all sort of things not just games.

Lol, I used to, back when I collected and become a hoarder of em. In the end it just seemed so pointless. I'd buy these things, smile for a few minutes while I looked them over, then turf them into the spare room after only playing them once (if I did at all).
Sold the lot, feel fine about it. A collection of books, DVDs and mags on games instead makes more sense for me, more enjoyable, easier to store and I get more use/enjoyment out of them. I would struggle getting rid of those more. :)

Yeah, I still have a load of Amstrad CPC cassettes that haven't seen action for 15+ years I'd guess. They do look cool! I've played some of them on emulator so at least by having the original I'm doing that legally. At least they're not as big as the game cases of today. I don't find it difficult to get rid of more recent games I don't like, from the SNES onwards. E.g. I'll sell Mystic Quest Legend once I find the manual...

It really depends on the game.
I have a lot of games that I haven't played for a while (and would have no inclination to start playing them in the near future) that I wouldn't care if i no longer owned them.

I would the games I have owned from childhood, but other than that...
