99% of all fighting games... my brain/hand reaction time is too slow
Most 3D games ... I suffer from depth perception and find it difficult to judge objects in space in videogames

Im surprised Shadow of the Beast hasnt been mentioned yet, I found that to be rather punishing (and boring). On the subject of shmups (amongst plenty of others) I nominate zynaps for the CPC. I always died at the same point, the point where you have to manouver the ship between 2 bubble like structures. I swear that the programmers made that bit impossible, im certain of it.

Edit:

Just looked this up on you tube and found the part I got stuck on. Strange, it seems very easy, far too easy for me to have struggled like I did. Ah well.

Dragons lair on the SNES, and the nes. Terrible collision detection on both and in the snes version dirk slides about the place like he's on f**kin ice.
Night breed on the amiga was pretty nails.

Of their games I tried, Navy Moves was the most perversely difficult followed by army moves and game over.

Bizarre thing is after the first level navy moves was a fairly simple arcade adventure

Playing Lunar Jetman on the speccy on keyboard mode is very difficult back to the days(80's) when I'd played it!

WeaponLord (SNES) - still can't get past the third fight on Easy without cheating.

Future Racer (PS1) - impossible although it may be because it's so hideously broken.
