Monkey Isle 1 & 2 are the best series ever
you can recycle most of 3&4 at the local tip.

Has to be Final Fantasy, such an enduring, quality series (bar maybe 2 awful games).

None of them - I think it's a crime that SF2 didn't make it to the final

voted for resident evil , ive always enjoyed them and completed 4 of them , not my fav series ever - but the best of the bunch in the final (in my opinion).

Liverpool 0 - Man Utd 1 (O Shea 91)- couldnt resist.

Monkey Isalnd and GTA have both taken up many hours of my life, but the adventures of Guybrush get my vote!

I really want mario to make it, but I'd settle for final fantasy taking the top spot. If it doesn't? Well, then, there will be, errr, trouble?

Never played Final Fantasy, which game would you suggest for a newbie? or is it just best to start from the first one?

Seriously, don't start with VII, many regard it as the best one, but its too dark and confusing for a first FF game, I'd suggest IX, its dark towards the end but it brings you in slowly, its Attributes system is easier to learn (its the easiest one overall) and its characters and world are fun, plus its more traditional, VII VII X and X-2 are cyber-punk RPG's while the rest are more traditional \"kings n castles\"

I woulsdnt start with XII though, its definetly a great great game, but its so different to the rest of the series that it would feel wrong to experience the old ways afterwards.

I votd Final Fantasy, I love everything about these games, the art style, the stories, the characters, music, everything. As Smurph said, they're only let down by 2 titles, and while their not as bad as Smurph feels (if its the same two, X and X-2) they dont stand up to the rest of the franchise.

A difficult choice made easier by a couple of absences... Castlevania and Metal Gear are my personal faves, but of those listed, I would have to go with Mario or Final Fantasy... and the coin toss says!....

Mario!! :P

woop!

And just for the record, I much prefered FFX to FFVIII...
