Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow for the DS. Great game but whenever you fight a boss you have to draw a 'Magic Seal' on screen to finish it off. Which leads to:
"Hang on let me grab the stylus," turns DS over, grabs stylus, accidentally taps screen, incorrect Magic Seal input, boss regains some HP, you curse Konami for making tagged on DS features.

Escort missions!
Where you've not only got to avoid getting shot, knifed, maimed, murdered yourself, but you've also got to protect some other numpty who insists on standing in the line of fire.
(You can also translate this to games like GTA where you have to protect other cars and space-based missions where you have to protect for example, a shuttlecraft against 50 gunships.)
Oh and going back to realistic driving, does anyone else find it as hard as I do when in games like GTA, Driver, when you're meant to blend in and not attract attention? I weave from lane to lane, sometimes into the path of oncoming cars (usually a police car...), onto pavements, barging cars aside, speeding, going through lights, etc. I'm a careful driver in real life so why am I so impatient in a video game? Probably because I know I won't come away with points on my licence I suppose.

Mario Kart on SNES is sooooooo annoying - I was playing it last night and that bloody course with no barriers at the side (I think it was the second track on the Mushroom Cup) - some cheating mare (namely Princess Peach) rams you off the edge and you drop from 1st to 8th in a matter of a few short seconds.jabbawokkie2 wrote:on mario kart (snes )who ever your racing with its always the same charector in second and even if you blow them away they are back behind you in 2 seconds
Given 2 of them were very good. Yes. You'd play it because it was a good game. Not playing it because it's a McDonalds game is exactly as stupid as not playing it "because it's on the NES" or "Because it looks old".bosher wrote:any game tht involves mcdonals. y wud u play a mcdonals game??
Incidentally, if anyone wants that post above translated into English let me know.

The missing tag mode is criminal on these games - I was so disappointed after playing MSH vs SF on arcade and then getting it for PS1 and finding the lack of a proper tag mode.thl wrote:The missing tag mode for both X-Men vs. Street Fighter and Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter on the PS1. I wasn't very impressed with it.

*=Delete as appropriate.
It really should be an option on Babelfish.
