I wonder if we'll get achievements for original Xbox games? It'll be weird getting achievements for games if beaten a dozen times...

You can get trophies on PS2 games on PS4. Probably a lot more work to do, but considering you download a patch every time you put a new 360 disc into an XBONE, shouldnt be too impossible.

I wonder if they'll go as far as to put the online back into some of those games (Not on OG Xbox consoles obviously, but when you put an OG XBox game into an XBONE), I'm sure they'd make a killing having the original Halo and Halo 2 to buy digitally with the promise of reinstated online multiplayer (While true you have the HD Collection, can't hurt having the exact originals from back in the day).

Guess that's the price you pay for 4K textures etc? Plus Blu Ray's can only hold 50GB odd of data so this was inevitable. That's going to suck for anyone on fixed data plans/slow Internet though :(

I would never dream of buying Forza as a download anyway.

Yes but it does indicate how memory hungry the game will be. I wouldn't be surprised to see patches bigger than 10 gig.
Remember when decent PC games were 600 meg and my 10 gb hard drive was "more than enough".

We are already seeing patches larger than 10GB worryingly enough. Wolfenstein on both PS4 and Xbox One had 40GB patches on day 1, Fallout 4 has had a similar sized patch on the PS4 for 4K textures, Halo Master Chief Collection has had numerous large patches (20-50GBish I believe, I know the day one patch was hefty) and Driveclub for the PS4 has also had numerous large patches for everything from free content (new tracks) to graphical enhancement patches. Certainly glad I have a speedy Internet connection these days!

I guess it's not a huge problem storage wise given that you can use external HDs, but for people with spotty internet...yikes

Yeah I guess I am lucky as I have 150 meg broadband and a 4T HD connected to my Xbox One.

While I'm a ps4 fanboy I also own and XBOX 1 and do appreciate their backwards compatibility model. Recharging customers every new system (looking at you Nintendo) is bad form.

I agree. It's really poor form.

It's been confirmed they won't have achievements
