My top ten? Megaman 1-10

But seriously...

1. Megaman 2
2. Marvel Super Heroes
3. Resident Evil REmake
4. Devil May Cry (the original, not the remake)
5. Alien Vs Predator
6. Bionic Commando (NES Version, not the arcade version)
7. Duck Tales
8. Megaman X
9. Super Ghouls n Ghosts
10. Breath of Fire 2

As for the rest, I could go on all night naming more Capcom games that I love, from Street Fighter 2, 3 and 4, to the Marvel Vs series, Side Arms, Ultimate Ghosts n Goblins Kai, Armoured Warriors, Battle Circuit, Final Fight, Dungeons and Dragons arcade games, Strider, UN Squadron, Commando&Mercs, Maximo, Resident Evil 2&4...........

10 - Capcom vs SNK 2
9 - Devil May Cry
8 - Street Fighter Alpha 3
7 - Gunbird 2
6 - Power Stone
5 - Rival Schools
4 - Resident Evil 2
3 - Spawn in the Demons Hand (terrible but i have fond memories)
2 - Onimusha
1 - JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

My memory of most SNES/Megadrive titles isnt clear enough to bring any of them to my list. I also didnt want anything current in the list (otherwise SSFIV would be up there at the top). Ive only recently started play some of the Darkstalkers games so they are too 'fresh' to be in my tops at the moment :D

1. Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower (PSP) - My favourite installment of my favourite fighter.

2. Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper (Arcade) - Takes everything good about SFII and the previous Alpha games to make something truly special. The sprites are beautiful, the music unique among SF games and the fast combo-friendly gameplay just sooooo addictive.

3. Capcom Vs SNK 2 (PS2) - Awesome music, awesome sprites, awesome gameplay, awesome everything.

4. Marvel Vs Capcom 2 (PS2) - Everything about this is just amazing. Bigger than the original and somehow still better than MvC3.

5. Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition - The best version of a landmark and fantastic game. It loses points for not being as close to the original games as I'd like but otherwise it's damn-near perfect. At the time of release on the Gamecube it was mind-blowing to me.

6. Alien Vs Predator (Arcade) - The best AvP game of all and one of the best side-scrolling beat 'em ups. A massive shame that it seems destined to remain in licensing hell.

7. Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (PS1) - My favourite of the classic RE games. Love the shattered city setting, constant scares and of course, Nemesis himself.

8. Super Street Fighter II Turbo (3DO) - My favourite sequel in the SFII series and the 3DO version has an amazing remixed soundtrack.

9. Godhand (PS2) - Unbelievably cool, wacky as hell and with amazing combat plus humour. A unique beat 'em up that needs more love.

10. Pocket Fighter (PS1) - An oddball fighter with chibi Capcom characters and a more playful nature.
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.

10 - Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting (Arcade/SNES) - I recalled playing it on the SNES that had myself hooked to it. It had some interesting characters with some very impressive special moves. The gameplay was well balanced too and it's easily one of my favourite conversion of the 16-bit era.

9 - Final Fight (Arcade) - It was the scrolling beat 'em up that defined the genre along with Double Dragon and Renegade. Huge sprites and hard-hitting gameplay makes this one a must-play game.

8 - Street Fighter IV (PS3) - It's great to see it back in the current gens and it surely proves what a great fighting game it it was over those years. Otherwise it's another classic.

7 - Super Street Fighter II Turbo (Arcade) - Great update it was to its predecessors with tweaks made to the gameplay. Plus who could forget the arrival of Akuma?

6 - X-Men vs. Street Fighter (Arcade) - Never saw both of those franchises crossed over and it was a clever move. It surely took the concept to another level.

5 - Alien vs. Predator (Arcade) - A very solid scrolling beat 'em up that never got any home conversion. Would love to see it available on XBLA and PSN.

4 - Street Fighter Zero 3 - Didn't know a lot of characters made it to this one and it's surely a great addition for those who familiar with this series.

3 - Strider (MD/Arcade) - Really blown away by this platformer when I first saw those screenshots and video footages. Brilliant stuff.

2 - Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo (Arcade/PS1) - Incredibly addictive puzzle game that shouldn't be miss.

1 - Mega Man II (Gameboy/NES) - Very smart platformer as I recalled playing it very often on the Gameboy. Really like the sprites for the characters and level designs.
