The first game I would have bought the system for was Shutokou Battle. Love those games. Plenty more too, JSR, Virtua Tennis, SF3, Power Stone and more. I'm not knocking it, just regret a day one JP purchase. :)

I could change my 3DS 'This is why' from RE Revelations to Zelda OOT. It's rather nice having OOT in all it's awesomness in pocket sized enhanced 3D :)

Spot on with these selections matey. Completely agree. Are you going to Revival? - We need to get some more 4 player Micro Machines going!
I'd LIKE to, but it'd definitely be a "last-minute" thing if I am - I work weekends so not sure if I can book the time off quick enough (off this weekend as it is!).
My comics blog (mostly lesser-known UK stuff from the 80s and 90s)

Im assuming the meaning of the question is what game would you tell someone is the reason why they should buy the machine. That being said:

Megadrive - Sonic 3 & Knuckles
Snes - Donkey Kong Country
Gameboy - Pokemon Blue/Red
Playstation 1 - I bought it for Tomb Raider 2 but i would say Final Fantasy VII is the one game to choose. So many on this machine though.
Saturn - Nights Into Dreams
N64 - Zelda: Ocarina Of Time
Dreamcast - Skies Of Arcadia with Ecco Defender Of The Future, Shenmue & Powerstone 2 not far behind. Wonderful machine.
PS2 - SSX Tricky
Gamecube - REmake but i would also point to Super Monkey Ball, Viewtiful Joe & F-Zero GX. Dreamcast part 2.
Xbox - Panzer Dragoon Orta
GBA - Golden Sun/Advance Wars 2
DS - Mario Kart DS but there's so many JRPG'S to point to aswel.
PSP - Crisis Core
XBOX-360 - i wouldn't point to anything but tell them that the machine has some nice exclusive XBLA games like Shadow Complex, Trials 2, Mark Of The Ninja, Guardian Heroes HD and a few other bits.
PS3 - In a few years time i have a feeling i would point to The Last Guardian or Final Fantasy Versus but neither are out yet and could end up being PS4 games so i will say Metal Gear Solid 4.
Wii - Mario Galaxy 2/Mario Kart
3DS - Super Mario 3d Land/Donkey Kong Country Returns. At the end of the machines life it would probably be a different game/s
PS Vita - Sorry but i can't think of a single game to point to so far.
WII U - I would build a time machine and go forward a few years where i would surely be able to point to something.
PC - so many to choose but i would point to Civilization III + Conquests. Grim Fandango would get pointed at aswel.

Sos for cheating on a few but i couldn't separate some.
The square is a great shape, and one that is criminally underused in modern game design. In the push to ever more granular, chaotic environments, games have lost sight of the simple pleasures of right angles and straight lines.

Good games, but after playing Quazatron on the Spectrum I struggle to see how Paradroid could persuade me of the benefits of a C64!
