After the failure of the C64GS, Commodore put the spare cartridges for it in with all their other normal computer packs. Hence there are far, far more cartridges about than actual C64GS consoles.

Mine was just the 64 and nothing else.

The c2n was seperate, my didn't buy a joystick, so had my first game (Krystals of Zong) for about a week before I got a joystick to play it.

Yup, got the 64 for xmas and the game.

Back in 'the day' (twas 1983) shops and stuff weren't open, plus we went away for xmas so had to wait until we got back before I could get the rest of the kit. Well, my dad had to I was only 13 at the time!!

A friend and I got so excited when we saw that pack advertised, was still in school at the time though, so couldn't get it.

I know this is from years ago, but I was just wondering the same thing. I got my C64 with the same things for Christmas '85.

I found it! It was called the Commodore C64 Computer Compendium.

I was late to the party having been a spectrum owner.

Around 1989/90 i got the "Light Fantastic" pack.

This included:

C64c in box
Datasette in box
Defender Lightgun
Unbranded joystick
Cardboard 3d glasses

Games included: Batman The Caped Crusader, Blaze out, Combat School, Hypersports, Mike Reads Computer Pop Quiz
Platoon, Rambo III, Robocop

3-D games: Army Days, Gangster Town, Time Traveller

Apps: Music Creator,Typing Tutor, Shoot-em-up Construction Kit, Graphics Creation Tool, "Audio" Help Tape!

I had a lot of fun with it, though the lightgun and 3d effect was pretty terrible.

Batman and platoon were the stand out games.

That is the one I got. It also came with a Commodore Christmas tape that played Christmas Carols along with appropriate Christmas graphics

It was sold with the A600 as part of the The Wild The Weird And The Wicked bundle, is that the one you're thinking of?
