We're planning a big feature on LucasArts so we'd be interested in knowing what your favourite Star Wars game is

Tie Fighter by a country mile, X-Wing was good but Tie Fighter took the series to a new level. I bought a pc to play it back in 93 ish ?
Console wise it would be Super Star Wars on the Snes, I imported the Japanese Version for a small fortune that also blew me away especially the sublime music, then both the sequels were more of the same but still superb if rock hard.

Rogue Squadron - Loved that on the PC, wish they would have re-released it on later formats
Dark Forces - Played these a LOT, graphics might look dated now but theres a ton of content in those games.
Battlefront II - Loved playing against the computer, a great game

Star Wars Arcade, on the 32X if you like. Or Episode I Racer on the Dreamcast, or that Game Gear game.

I WANTED to like Star Wars Demolition, but it just wasn't happening.

Easily Knights of the Old Republic. Not only one of the best Star Wars games i've played but one of the best RPG's too. Being able to make decisions that would determine whether your powers would be light or dark was plain awesome. Go Sith

Super Star Wars on the SNES. Didn't know what to expect when I first play it and does bring the reminiscent of the film version. It was full of action-packed excitement with great graphics, superb BGMs, and smart gameplay. Otherwise it's a very good solid platformer.

My favourite is definitely Atari's Star Wars arcade game, simply iconic.

I also have a soft spot for Empire Strikes Back on the Atari 2600 but that is by Parker Bros.

So favourite Lucasarts Star Wars game? Hmm, probably Rogue Squadron on the Game Cube.

Episode Racer is a really good shout. It's a fantastically fast game that captures all the high speed thrills of the race it's based on. I remember loving it on the N64.

Rogue Squadron on the Game Cube and The Phantom Menace on Playstation. I liked the fact you could stroll around chatting to anyone or starting fights.

I was thinking along the lines of Rogue Squadron 2, Shadows Of The Empire, and Star Wars Racer, then remembered how much I loved the Dark Forces game on PC, a Star Wars FPS, what a winner, and it really was, but even that was eclipsed by the sequel, Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2, it looked incredible for the day, great story, continuing into it's add on pack, Mysteries of The Sith, which despite being a bit rough round the edges in comparison was just as exciting to play.

Star Wars Episode 1: Racer

Both arcade and home console versions were among the only good things to come out of Episode 1: The Phantom Menace (besides Darth Maul of course)

Great take on the arcade racing genre, giving you a great sense of speed, and providing you with enough content in the game to make it a worthwhile alternative to other racers

Toss up between the Atari 1983 Star Wars coin-op, TIE Fighter on the PC, and Rogue Squadron 2 on the Cube.

There was a time when it seemed that Star Wars games were the only games I played. The reason I pleaded with my parents to get a PC was so that I could play Rebel Assault.

My to 5 would be:

1) TIE Fighter
2) KOTOR
3) Dark Forces
4) KOTOR II
5) Jedi Outcast

Honourable mentions go to X-Wing Alliance, X-Wing, Episode I Racer and Dark Forces II.
