None of the above - I spend all of my time reading about retro gaming, and do very little actual retro gaming :(

All of the above, but I chose option 2 as I spend alot of time on Emulators playing various machines I never had the chance to play on.

Mainly 2 with a bit of 1 thrown in when I can be bothered to do the necessary digging out and plugging in.

I would say that 90% of my Retro Gaming is via emulation.

Although sometimes I do fire up the Speccy and bring the Megadrive out of retirement.

But as I've said in previous posts, my Speccy is 20 years old, nearly 21 in fact, and so are a lot of the cassettes, so I try not to use it that often.

Plus emulation allows me to play the Speccy games in an instant, although having said that, there is just someting about hearing those games load...

Why isn't there an 'all of the above' function? :)

Tough question. I play on the original systems more often than I emulate, and I've got a fair few retro comps for modern systems. I'm just not gonna vote

99% emulators for me, just take up a ton less room, doesnt wind up the wife and i can try many systems easily.

Because that allows you to cop out of making a decision! The question does ask what you do the majority of your retro gaming on? :)

At the moment the majority is done via emulation mainly on my GP32 as it is convenient and most of my original systems are currently under lock and key so that my four year old daughter cannot get her sticky fingers on them. However I still have an N64, Jaguar and DC set up so that I can play games on them without needing to resort to emulation. Up until a few years ago I had a wide range of machines set up so mainly used the original hardware for gaming purposes.

I do enjoy all three, but the majority of my retro gaming right now is playing on the original systems. If one asked a year ago it would have been using emulators though.

These days it mostly retro compilations or emulation on the PSP (including PSX games). However, I do play on the C64 and Dreamcast every month or so. I very rarely use emulation on the PC. When I have game day, then I will bring out a few more consoles so that the guys can try something different on the original format.
