Actually, I quite enjoyed Pit-Fighter!

While it may not have been the best, I just thought it was fun!

I always liked playing as Buzz.

I haven't played it in quite a while, so I may just have to fire up the emulator...

Shadow: War is succession -- on the 3DO is almost unplayable. Pitfighter looks good against this.

Do I have to keep mentioning Justice League Task Force every time someone does one of these threads? It's a game where you can win every round by just low kicking your opponent repeatedly. At least Rise of the Robots let you punch occasionally.

I concur on that one. Isnt it uncommon on the MD? Crap as well mind. Like a few other rarer titles, rare but crap.

There are worse fighters imo. I like Pit Fighter due to being one of the first fighters with digitized characters and blood (before MK made it popular) and because of it's free movement mechanics and using the scenery objects and weapons and being amusingly "over the top". So while it's not a good fighting game, I respect it for the things it did in it's time.

I don't think Pit Fighter was as bad as Shaq-Fu. But I'd say the absolute worst fighting game ever is Catfight on PC. You'll have to track it down to see just how soul-destroyingly crap it is.

Pit Fighter is pretty bad but I've played worse. Highlander on the Speccy was without merit.

The worst ever punching people game for me is Renegade 3 on the Spectrum. It's the worst thing.

Pit figher is nowhere near the worst game, I'd rather play Megadrive Pitfighter than FIFA on anything
