Fighting game of all time? I think so. It was horrible then and by god it's horrible now.

Ive played it more than any other fighter bar the latest Mortal Kombat.
It is epically bad, yet still one of the greatest games off all time. It will be remembered long after most half decent fighters have parkinsons and have turned into mumbling write offs.

Never played World Heroes , Deadly Moves , Brutal Paws of Fury,TMNT Tournament Fighters or Rise of the Robots?

Seriously though , of all versions the MD version is probably the best of the lot - mainly for NOT using the graphic scaling.

Not a brilliant game but still by far the best.

Please! World Heroes is MILES better than Pit-Fighter in EVERY department!

Rise of the Robots in the WORST ever fighter

It's known by everyone, which makes this thread rather pointless.

Is Jam worse than Marmalade?

For a bad fighting game try Oriental Hero on the Spectrum. Next to it, Rise of the Robots, Shaq Fu and Pit Fighter all look like masterpieces.

Luckily for us, it wasn't as massively overhyped as those three games, so comparatively few will have heard of it.

not close to being the worst but not close to being the best either.

I enjoyed it, but it is hated by most gamers.

An average fighter. Having played games for 30+ years, I've come across much worse.

Try Highlander on the Speccy if you want to play a REALLY crap fighter,

Rise of the Robots is a bad fighter, but there are a lot worse. At least it has nice graphics/intro etc , others don't even have that.

Pit-Fighter's definitely NOT the worst - it's one of the best! Top five, at least.

Had more fun with the Mega Drive version than I've ever had with Street Fighter II.

I throught Pit-Fighter was pretty poor imo, it was hyped because of the digitised fighters, but the animation is just awful and it's more of a button basher than skill fighter, I don't think any home conversion was to blame when the original was just poor to start with.

If you want more bad fighting games, try Dangerous Streets on the Amiga and CD32...just watch on youtube and you won't even want to play it!

Nah, it's not, though the SNES version is almost way down there - MD version is pretty good fun, imho, if vastly limited compared to SF2 or even MK1!!! Amiga and CD32 had loads of sh!te fighters, "Dangerous Streets" in particular. One of the worst on MD was 'Fat Man' AKA "Tongue Of The Fatman", though it has interesting graphics and sorta reminds me of the old cartoon, 'Galaxy High' for some reason.

wow, seeing a lot of fighters on here that i actually enjoy. Shaq Fu, World Heroes, Pit Fighter, TMNT Tournament Fighters.

Can't say i have played Rise of The Robots, but looking at my track record above, i would likely love that too.

Pitfighter on the MD/SNES looks horrid, but the Arcade Version and Arcade port on MAT2 is pretty good.

The worst fighter i have played has to be Grappler Baki released as Fighting Fury in Europe by MIDAS on the PS2. Now that game was trash, it is a game based on a anime/manga about Japanese Wrestlers, and i still couldn't play it for more than 5 minutes.
