Thrust
I've been playing lots of Thrust lately. Both the C64 version on my GP2X via emu (w/ custom control keymappings) and the cart-based Vectrex remake (which is the best version I've seen, btw.)
A recent blog post of mine talks about it and links out to a few of the versions (including movie of the Vectrex remake in action).
Anyone else love the feel of this classic? There're many remakes of this for the PC and Amiga.

Micro Machines on the PSP is a fustrating experience, one mistake and you might as well restart the race as you can't win.
Infected is a no-nonsense zombie-killer with a great sense of humour; actually laughed out loud at the first cut scene when the kids programme was interrupted for breaking news about people ripping the legs of old ladies and beating them to death with them before being told by her producer about how kids would still be watching this!

I'm still trying to finish the Saturn version of Gradius. I can finish my favourite version (PC Engine) by using the 'save state' feature on Magic Engine, but not without it. By the way, is that generally considered cheating? I'm still playing through the game without using an actual cheat after all. It just saves me starting from the beginning of the level every time I die

Well. I downloaded an old DOS emulator so i could play my old games i have on 3 n 'alf inch disks. I spent hours on Moraff's World (Seriously... best gameplay ever... ever), Captain Cosmo, Grand Prix (In all the magnificence of it's 16 colours) and... if anyone has played this game i'm gonna love it... ZORK! An horrific text adventure in which i managed to die in about 2 minutes from drinking poisoned fountain water.
