I was playing two beautiful gems last night on my Amiga - one PD and the othe a budget title from Team 17:

Game #1: Doody (PD)

A rather cute looking Mario clone - this is a bloody good game which I originally got from a really old Amiga Format coverdisk, but I've seen it loads of PD compilations. It's rather addictive and very 'retro' like

Game #2: Qwak (Team 17 - budget)

This is probably the best budget game I've ever played - cute graphics, great sound, addictive gameplay - what more could you ask for!!!

Check out my comments on Lemon Amiga - I decided to review this little gem.

Just completed a season on Match Day II (Speccy) on the hardest level. Still a good challenge.

Don't try it on the C64 - it's just awful!

I must be seriously uncool - playing a game I'm also developing - multi-player Lords of Midnight.

Other than that and recent incarnations of old concepts like FM2007 and Civ4, I still like the odd game of Alpha Centauri and Colonization and old Spectrum or C64 adventures.

Must dig out my copy of Sensi Soccer on the Amiga one day.

Tactics Ogre (PSX)
Aside from the annoying odd crash, I'm enjoying the game.

Found Speedball 2 on Megadrive today (along with a whole pile of other MD games for 49p each), so I shall be dragging the black box out tonight for a few rounds of that.

Just managed to survive for slightly over 8 minutes on Heavy Weapons survival mode, I thought the main game itself was hard but that was just getting stupid.

I'm stuck on level 9 of the mission mode at the moment. My first go on survival online we lasted just over 10 minutes, I've not gotten anywhere near that since.

Puzzle Quest - level 35 and still going. This is more addictive than Zoo Keeper.

I've spent quite a lot of time on Test Drive Unlimited over the last couple of days. It's really enjoyable just cruising around the island finding races and challenges.

How many of you where playing on line and did it still unlock the 8 minute achievement as I feel multiplayer may be the way to go for the 12 minute one? I couldn't believe the amount of stuff it was throwing at me as it got round the 7 minute mark :D Level 9 took me a while to crack, I managed to get past some of the later levels by foregoing the laser and powering up the flack cannon and lightning gun, also if you change the screen display from widescreen to normal you get less on screen enemies, I had to do that to finish level 19.
