I did complete the second chapter of the first Phoenix Wright game on DS last night. Very good game, surprisingly deep for a handhelder and with good humour too. Entertaining.
OK I've been playing a bit of Gears of War, why on earth didn't I buy this sooner?, it has much better gameplay than i was thinking. Not only that but it's the most incredible game I think I've ever laid eyes on, on my new Samsung series 6 TV the GFX are just insane in 1080p
, although it's not natively (only around 3 360 games are) lol it almost looks as if it is. Pretty much incredible!

Yeah it's not as good. I personally feel it was rushed from disk 3 onwards, however the common opinion is that it gets good from disk 3 onwards lol. I actually love the slower pace and more detail of the first 2 disks. That reminded me of the first game and the incredible atmosphere it created. Disk 3, while having more action has less chacrater detail, is maybe too ambitious. The rooms start to look identical and a general feeling of repetition kicks in, and for me at least the game does drag towards the endcoxyclan wrote:Shenmue 2, i'm finding it not as much fun as the first one at the moment though.
However it's a one of a kind game for sure, the first game in particular rates as one of my most beautiful gaming experiences.
Loftgroover: Mate, I'm having a hard time of it on casual lol. Will be some time before I'm even remotely ready for hardcore difficulties. Maybe I just suck.
