Got what I was expecting being a Kojima game. Odd setting, cinematic cutscenes (with even more odd stuff), damn fine graphics, fascinating and great gameplay, and heaps of stuff that makes no sense. Typical Kojima

. Love the social element with structures other players make appearing in your game + yours appearing in other's games. Looking forward to just wandering around. Really enjoyed that in No Man's Sky, plus I've played quite a few Kojima games in my lifetime (starting with Snatcher).
As I'm sure many would know here, one of those things that's been lost largely with more modern gaming is games shaped largely by a single individual with clear vision and distinct style. Growing up it was commonplace as games were made by 1 person, where as now their made by hundreds (if not thousands) of people. Even in the 90s it was still common with Wil Wright, Sid Meier, John Romero etc etc. Nowadays that stuff is rare. So as weird as Kojima games can be, they are something special and unique at the same time. And I absolutely love them for that reason. Plus their just great games full stop.
