I'm not familiar with that game. What does the 'R' stand for? Mario Kart Rehashed perchance?

You got me mate, no idea what it stands for...you could well be right

As far as i can tell (after playing for an hour) its plays spot on to the original....so if you didn't like that, you're not going to like this. I've been using Kirby, just because that's the new playable character. The courses i've tried so far are all pretty good, but i've yet to discover any shortcuts, although i'm sure they're in there.

here's a few pics of it:

Just did the bank robbery mission on GTAIV and damn...talk about making it through by the skin of my teeth...

I've noticed a lot of missions in this game demand all of your health meter unlike previous games where you could quite easily breeze some enemy-heavy missions. Also irritating is to prepare yourself with full health and armour only to get ran over by a random car that drains 1/5 of it

PN03. Nice ass indeed. Shitty controls but I'm getting used to them.

Picked up Psi-Ops for the PS2 for the first time in months. I find this game very cool with lots of inventive ways to use mind-control, telekinesis and more. It might be nice to see a sequel some day. Second Sight is supposed to be very similar but I didn't find that as appealing based on the gaming videos.

Just got 200/200 on Daytona USA so I have gone out and got Saints Row The Third - this is acting as my escapism from the nightmare that is Dark Souls.

I finally got to the Ice Caves last night, was so excited I promptly fell of a ledge and died. Poor camera is the only thing that lets that game down sometimes.

Played a couple more PS2 games from the 'play to see if they are any good, if not dump 'em pile' today.

First up was Killzone which I actually did complete back in the day but playing it now, it all feels very average. I thought it looks and plays a lot better than people generally say but there was just a strange soulless feel to it. Not bad but not as good as I remember.

Secondly was Spectral Vs Generation, a 2D fighting game using characters from the Spectral and Generation RPG series'. This was another one that I played a long time ago but like with Killzone, time had not been kind to my memories. The sprites are okay but poorly animated, the characters in general are pretty dull and it just plays really blandly.

So yeah, both games getting sold :P
