Re: What are you currently playing?
We had that in work before I got my ps3.wish id bought it as it was only 3.99 and it looked ok.
Re: What are you currently playing?
If there was a larger roster, I think Battle Fantasia would be up there with my absolute favourite fighters. Blinding game.

Still on FFVII, and trying to get all the things I usually can't be arsed with.
Re: What are you currently playing?
I just wish Battle Fantasia wasn't cut so much on the Euro Release. The story mode basically has one path for each character, in the Japanese (and the USA version, which was released far later) they translated all the paths making the story mode much better and much longer.Sel Feena wrote:If there was a larger roster, I think Battle Fantasia would be up there with my absolute favourite fighters. Fighting wise its a solid game, I never did manage to get down the mechanics of the game properly but I was still impressed with what I played.

I think after the 3rd one they just got worse and worse.Didnt get on with the characters in 5 at all.Son_of_Shinobi wrote:Soul calibur V.... why is it so bad
I mean Necrid and Spawn didnt seem to fit that well into the feel of the game but friggin Darth Vader in IV? I stopped kidding myself I could grow to like it and just went back to SC2 on the 'cube. At least Link didnt feel quite so shoehorned.
Re: What are you currently playing?
Started playing Wolfenstein: The New Order. Surprised at how good it is, my expectations were rock bottom, but it's excellent.

Characters that match the backgrounds
Super moves
A bit fast
Lack of decent one player mode

This is one of my personnel hates about the way company's try and squeeze every last penny out of the customer. Such a bad way for them to treat people who just shelled out full price for their gameDPrinny wrote:Day one DLCSon_of_Shinobi wrote:Soul calibur V.... why is it so bad

This was a big annoyance for me but also don't forget:DPrinny wrote:Day one DLCSon_of_Shinobi wrote:Soul calibur V.... why is it so bad

- Dull story mode with a hateful lead character
- Guard Impacts now relying on a meter (why did they do this?!?)
- The new characters not really looking the part and a lot of well-loved characters completely missing
I still kinda like the game but it's easily the least appealing in the series.

Re: What are you currently playing?
I've had a copy of Battle Fantasia sitting on my shelf for several years...completely unplayed
. I only like to have one fighter on the go at any one time (so I can focus my attention on only one set of mechanics/characters) and that's currently The Rumble Fish.
The main reason I picked it up originally (£5 in HMV I think) was because it's an Arc game and you usually can't go wrong with those.

My Battle Fantasia was 4 quid in CEX... result.
it has future collectable written all over it.
