Looks really nice and was beating everybody with the female with the Scythe who summons those ghost hands, really easy to chain high combo's with her and her air special do crazy damage.. Even beat a few people with perfects then got to the screen filing Cyber Shredder lookalike.. Coupled with his insane damage(half energy from one hit) and the little fat guy who comes out of it and also attacks you - I just gave up!

Friend lent me the new Assassins Creed been enjoying that game
I love Sengoku Basara X. Looks amazing and fairly easy to string together some rewarding flashy combos. You should play Hokuto No Ken as well if you havnt already. Its also by arc and looks and plays brilliantly. Wish these games saw releases again to enable online play. Would be great to play against people instead of AI most the time.

Ive been playing some Fate Unlimited Codes on JP PS2 and I'm really enjoying it so far. Vid of me playing :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=of6GHR3q_5A

NMH1 was so bad it ruined NMH2 for me.

Currently doing my second character playthrough of Muramasa and doing the main story in RE4 for the twenty-something time. Playing through Diddy Kong Racing as a palette cleanser.

I can't help but think it would be better with some more advanced type of graphics (and yeah, I do use a tileset ofcourse, but I meant more in the general sense) but the fact that it's still a fun game despite the barely existing graphics just proves how great the gameplay is.
Wow massive coincidence but i also started trying to play DF just a few days ago. I agree that it's ridiculously hard to figure out all the menu's and stuff without a good guide but you just cant help but be pulled in by how deep it is and all the stuff you can do. Just imagine how amazing it would be if the graphics were even SNES level and the menu's were a bit better laid out and a tad simpler! The closest game to it i think is Gnomoria but that is a massively simplified version of DF.

Anyway you should use this guide to getting started:

http://dwarffortresswiki.org/index.php/ ... tart_guide

It's extremely helpful and easy to understand and you will learn a lot in a short time. I have the page open whilst playing the game. Whilst i still have only touched the surface i have had a few immigrants join me and now have about 20 Dwarfs. I just built my Trade Depot and need to figure out how the buying and selling works.
Nice guide, will definitely come in useful.

I've been watching this series as a starters guide: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRwnYkQaWic
It's a guy playing with some people who has never played the game before and therefor he explains everything. I learned a lot from it, would recommend watching it.
A very good beginners guide video series, thanks.
The square is a great shape, and one that is criminally underused in modern game design. In the push to ever more granular, chaotic environments, games have lost sight of the simple pleasures of right angles and straight lines.

Made a start on Bioshock Infinite (360), pretty crazy so far but it's definitely got that Bioshock magic.

Dragon's Crown PSVita/PS3, still levelling up by doing the sidequests in order to fight the Dragon.

I just received my Super Famicom in the post yesterday and out of the games i got with it Ive been obsessed with J.League Soccer Prime Goal 3 , It has to be the best football game I have ever played, it's been really fun. I just looked up on wiki if it was ported to anywhere else under a different name and it came out as 90 Minutes: European Prime Goal to anyone with english consoles.

Also ive had my hands cramping up a lot with the Super Famicom controlller, has anyone else had this problem.

I tried to give it a chance.
Good ideas there but just not executed very well.

I still have it so good chance I'll give it another go at some point.

Phoenix on Atari 2600 - having a high score battle with one of my colleagues.

Probably some berzerk tomorrow on the same deal then it goes home with me.
