i haven't played festival but infamous 2 is very good,as for your ps3 my release day phat was playing up so i ended up taking it apart and there was a huge amount of dust inside, after i cleaned it out it worked perfectly for a month before the drive gave out.it still works fine but obviously there's no working drive.

my point is it might be worth giving yours a clean before it overheats.

I've just finished Resi 6 and i'm about halfway through Ass Creed 3 on 360. I got three Tombraider games ongoing on Vita with Final Fantasy 6 also making an impact. I've done a big trade with TheVulture who some of you may remember from the forum and i'm looking forward to playing Doom BFG on PS3 also downloading Okami HD... phew!!!

no not difficult at all
all you need is a laptop sata drive
turn the ps 3 off flip it over
on the rightside of the ps3 there is a latch
take it off there is a single blue phillips screw holding the hd in place
swap them around
and thats it

http://vgstrategies.about.com/od/ps3che ... pgrade.htm
http://www.gamefront.com/how-to-upgrade ... ard-drive/

make sure the new hd is formatted as fat 32 though
and have a usb drive with the latest system software on hand http://en.kioskea.net/faq/5637-how-to-i ... connection

oh and be sure to move all your saves to a fat 32 usb stick as well
you can redownload all your games from the psn store ( which will take a while )

i have heard the ps3 can take at least 750 gig but i can only verify 500 gig myself
the hd i have in my slim is 500 gig

no it's very easy, all you really need (apart from a screw driver ) is a usb stick to download the latest firmware onto for when you format the drive after putting it in.i've done it at least three times now.

EDIT-beaten to it but agree with above.

^i keep it boxed up now,at the time i was keeping an eye on ebay but replacement drives were £100 or more with no guarantee so didn't want to chance it.i haven't looked for a while if i can even find one now assuming slims use different drives.i also have a slim with a faulty blu-ray drive.

Welp, Hotline Miami is certainly a... A game.
I'm really not sure what to make of it, except it's really fun and challenging.

Played a bunch of games while at a mate's this evening

DOA 5 - I absolutely adore this game. It's a fantastic, fantastic fighter.
Tekken Tag 2 - Ditto the above, though not quite as much!

After fighting it out we tried Lord of the Rings: War of the North - it's a pretty fun hack n slash game, really challenging and a decent set-up. Definitely more fun in co-op than it would be in single player

Restarted Dark Souls after a year since i last played it. It's winding me up a lot more than i remember. I accidentally threw myself off a ledge to my doom and a mini boss followed me, thus his loot drop and souls were permanently lost in the process. I looked him up to find he carries a very handy ring that i can now never obtain. For all its merits i do think it has some design flaws and it punishes the player to an unnecessary degree.
I asked for orange. It gave me lemon lime!

Epic mickey for the 3ds as I got it dead cheap from Shopto. Not bad but also not that great either. Mickey really does move really slow normally and it kinda kills the pace of the game to me plus the touch screen drawing (which happens frequently) just slows things down further. It's a shame as the game looks beautiful and the 3d is subtle but works well all the same. Worth picking up cheap if you liked the older illusion titles but don't expect it to be on par with them.
