I had a quick blast on the Gears 3 Beta, I'm not overly impressed with the new weapons at the moment.

Just started on Dante's Inferno for 360, enjoying it so far, general tactic is keep smashing the "x" button to kill stuff!

Goldeneye 007, still 4100 xp of level 25 and the first unlockable game mode, I like it but it's such a grind to unlock things. The Wii will probably be finished and the online pulled by the time I unlock "Classic" mode.

Coded Arms: Contagion. Amazingly, this is a sequel in which the developers listened to criticisms of the original. Obviously the control scheme is still hampered by the lack of a second analogue stick, but we now get an actual story, better level design and more enemies at once to deal with. My only problem with it so far is that they ruined the pistol. A flintlock musket could fire faster than that thing.

Section 8: Prejudice on 360.

It's more or less the same as the original retail version but the graphics have been slightly tarted up and there's less cutscenes in the (short) campaign.
it just goes to show that sometimes a full retail release can be a bit of a mickey take. The original Section 8 clocked in at just over 2gb when installed to hard drive, which is very much in the XBLA range for size of content.
It came out at full retail price.

And here we are with a new version that's not much different to the previous version and it's 1200pts.

Decent online game though. Very strategic. Dedicated servers featuring 32 players too.

Spotted Ridge Racer 6 for £3 so it had to be done. I wasn't expecting to get any online races, but pleseantly surprising how many people still play this.

Still playing (and loving) Medal Of Honor Frontline...I forgot how painful it was when games sent you BACK TO THE START OF THE LEVEL when you die.

Checkpoints? Pah.

Still playing Minotaur Rescue on my iPhone. Finally managed to beat my previous highscore of 33,000,000 with one of 116,044,258 moving me up to 4th place in the Hiscore leaderboards
Damn the game for being so insanely addictive...

I'm also finishing off the last bits in Yakuza 4. I've done all the side stories, completed the main game and finished nearly all the challenges. All that is left is to finish up the underground colliseum as Saejima (almost beat all the opponents), beat Amon and finish a few more mini games. Still can't be bothered with the modding though, its still to tedious to get all the materials, items etc. to mod all of the weapons.

Dead Space 2. I wasn't too impressed with the demo but I thought I'd give it a go as its dropped in price a little. So far its pretty good, the cutscenes and character designs are not very nice but it plays pretty well.

I'm pretty hooked on SSF IV 3D on 3DS atm. Capcom done a really good job of cramming the core experience of the game into the system. The 3D is unimpressive and really gimmicky on this game, I'll be the first to say that, it's utterly pointless and with the pace of gameplay it's easy for the 3D to misalign.

So 2D @ 60 fps is the best way to play, I've also opted to use the analogue slider over the D-pad for the first time in my life. It's actually really good for some moves, the charge characters like Guile are a bit harder to get used to. But it's nothing like as bad as using a 360/PS3 analogue stick as there's much less travel in the slider. It's a superb game, very addictive.
