Played some 2-player Scott Pilgrim vs the World with my nephew this morning. Rarely get the chance to play 2 player stuff as my missus 'doesn't care for games'. Took f**kin ages just to get to third evil ex. Dunno whether I have the persistance to complete this!

:D Ohhh do i like the look (and descripton) of this one.Hidden gem? As 1st i`ve heard of it too.Nice!
Well, it's not out over here just yet, I think a week away but have seen it as cheap as £20 online. Well worth that. It really is an amazing game, if you like Comix Zone or 2D side scrolling beat 'em ups then you will love this.

No classic controller support, it strictly uses the Wiimote and Nunchuck but don't be put off, the controls are brilliant, you can aim at the screen so target your batarang and swing the wiimote to unleash hard attacks. It is programmed excellently so no worries there. You can choose to be Robin or Batman, and chose a 3rd sidekick out of a list (most are locked at first) which can be called in to act as your special weapon similar to Capcom's VS games.

The game's presentation is really good, the graphics are beautiful, it also zooms in and out as you play. You pick up coins as you defeat enemies and level up your characters and add new moves etc. Most importantly it just plays so well! Brilliant game.

Check out a vid of it <here>

And here was me assuming it was a Wiiware game. Will deffo keep an eye on this now that I know it's a disc release :)
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.

It took me a while to get into it.

Once you pick up some decent weapons and explore a while it gets much better. Still one of the buggiest games this gen though!

It is the exploring that is boring me. I will probably give up before it grips me.

I was put off.

F***ing wii controls, seriously. Is it that hard to introduce CC support? or GC pad support?

Played alot of Auto Modellista today on PS2.

The announcer is truly annoying but i really like the game alot. The Engrish is also amusing, 'NEW CAR GET' never fails to raise a smile.
