I've been playing a Gamecube game called Eggo Mania all afternoon. It's a Tetris-type game with some action elements. Tried to look it up on Moby Games to see what other users thought, and I can't find it!

I'm finding there's a fair amount of bullets you can't seem to get out of the way of, other than that it's well worth a download.

Was trying to play HOTD2&3 last night but the calibration is being a total bitch for me, which is strange since most reviews I've seen have been praising its accuracy.

Aside from that, playing quite a bit of Poker online :)

Shenmue. Which is why I've done little else for the last 3 days.

It's just as incredible and genuinely beautiful as it was on the first playthrough. Wanting to complete it again so I can finally get started on Shenmue 2 on the DC.

I've got my DC out to replace my Saturn for a while, so i'm going through Crazy Taxi, Ecco, Jet Set radio and Space Channel 5. Virtua Athlete 2k doesn't work though, which nearly made me throw the console through the window.

Also managed to complete GRID's career mode (I say complete - I got to number 1 in the world) and have been playing Online a lot. Which usually goes like this:

Engines revved.
Go.
6 of the 12 drivers are pricks so drive right into your backside, causing at least half of them to be wrecked, and half of the other 6 to be wrecked in the carnage.
The remaining 3 pricks then drive the wrong way round, to try and crash into you. At least 2 will crash and be wrecked.
The 3 people who actually, shock horror, want to race swerve around the idiots only to spin off, crash into walls or flip their car for an acheivement gaining 1 second air time, before also being wrecked.
The one remaining driver takes every corner at full speed, does not know what the word brake means, and turns the car into something you'd see in Flatout rather than in Race Driver.
Everyone moans, the ones who didn't crash get voted off because the idiots think they're 'sad' and then everyone leaves to join a game which doesn;t get destruction derby voted every-single-time after those who want to race proper cars are voted off.

Bitter? Me?

Picked up Smash Bros Brawl after a long time, still just as good as I remember it. Working through Allstar and Boss battle modes with all characters and unlocking the rest of the challenge board.

Had a Dreamcast fighting session with my two nephews who are staying this week:
- Soul Calibur
- Power Stone
- Marvel vs Capcom 2
- Ready To Rumble Round 2

They seemed to enjoy Powerstone the most. As I'm typing this they're playing Lego Star Wars on the Wii. Keeps 'em quiet anyway.

1942 joint strike. Only played it 3 times and have RSI already. Autofire would have been good :D

Better than I thought it would be but not much variety. Need to practice those bosses - the hit areas are difficult to work out.
