Oh? Did you play TFC, or are you in the beta too?DanDare wrote:I always thought your name rang a bell.Sureshot wrote:Fortress Forever - Closed Beta (PC)
Not had time to play much lately, but I've indulged in a bit of UT.
What are you currently playing?

Has anyone in the scene designed a disk label for this one yet?merman wrote:Joe Gunn on the C64 (not emulation, I transferred it back to a real 5.25" DISK)
I've been playing it on my C64 off SanDisk via my MMC64!

BTW, you *really* need to check out 'The Rebels' Merman... http://noname.c64.org/csdb/release/?id=50660

I used to play TFC. I'm not in the FF beta but I did used to keep an eye on it and knew of Defrag. I hope it plays as well as they advertise. Will be fun.Sureshot wrote:Oh? Outrun 2006 Coast to Coast on Xbox

I woke up early - because I drank too much falling down water last night and I've been at a loose-end all day and basically - downright grumpy.
So I played: Pilot Wings 64 for about 10mins. Zelda OOT for about 40mins. Far Cry instincts on the Xbox for 30 mins. Decathlon on the 3DO until it crashed. Battlefield 2 on the Xbox til I realised it was pooh. Club Drive on the Jag until I wasn't impressed with graphics. Wangan on the PS3 until I realised I was never going to get gold on the very first stage without unlocking some secret or other. Footie on the 3DO too, then remembered I hate football. I've just been moping about, looking at my games collection, and thinking they are all rubbish. All of them. :-/ MEH!
Oh yeah - and I unlocked all the secrets in Ds Diner the Directors cut, to realise they are all boring too.

PC -Battlefield 2142 currently is the only PC game worthy of my attention, and it gets it - quite a lot.
Arcade - just starting to work thru Metal Slug 1, and looking forward to the later episodes.
Phone - Monkey Island via SCUMM - missed it on the Amiga / PC first time around, and thought I'd better see what all the fuss was about.
PS2 - still wheeling out SSX Tricky, purely for the whole jingly jangly pinball-machine style presentation and great gameplay mechanics - unlike it's b@st@rd chiuld, SSX Blur on Wii.
N64 - Odd foray into Goldeneye.
Dreamcast - where the bulk of my gaming is going at the moment. Have recently re-discovered beat-em-ups and am trying to get to grips with Soul Calibur, Street Fighter 3 - Third Strike and my fave, Capcom VS SNK 2 - Millionaire Fighting 2001. Loev all the customisation options, massive choice of fighters and the whole way the game is presented is Brilliant - right from boot-up this game picks you up and shakes you around visually and aurally. Apart from the cheesy voiceover guy ("I mean.....seriously.....whats up...with that? Who invited these guys.....to the contest?")
Wii - Resi 4 and Excite Truck
