Duds, do you need a ridiculously high spec PC to run at that detail or is it well optimised?
Wondering if my old XP2400 and its 6800GT will cope? (I think its a 6800GT, I forget, mind has gone blank).

The CPU is the killer there, and bear in mind when this claims to be a realistic game it's not kidding (It's at least a step above Forza 2). There are plenty of driving aids to make it doable with a joypad but you're standing on the point of the thing somewhat then.

But you should cope, just not at that kind of beauty. I'd suggest GTR1 but that uses Starforce.

Fwiw, I have an Intel Core 2 Duo 2x2.4ghz and a 7600GS (which is roughly as good a card as yours) and I get a steady 40fps in 1280x1024 with the entire (up to) 52 car field in front of me. (Obviously rain gives that a bit of crotch kick)

There is a demo, although it's of a slightly old build.

I've been all at sea since finishing La Purcelle. Trying to go through COD3 - but, well, only so much joy can harvested from shooting Germans in Uniform. Perfect General on the 3DO - it's a bit confusing up to now. The only game that has stuck has been Tetsujin: The Return on the 3DO. A god awful FPS, that's all in Japanese. For some reason - I'm enjoying it.

Nice GTR2 pics, I used to play that all the time until my wheel packed in.
Started a new job yesterday so havn't been playing a lot, but I did manage a few games of Sensible Soccer 2006 this evening, and my brother is planning to drive down for the weekend, so we'll hopefully get some multiplayer SF2 games in.
