Started up Outcast and had to look up how to save, heh. Seems like a pretty ambitious game though.

Bayonetta 2 (Wii-U). Really enjoying it but, so far at least, it isn't quite as awesome as the original. I'm playing on the default difficult, same as the original, and it's just really easy. Very easy to get gold/plat medals, stuff isn't anywhere near as hidden as before and money is dead easy to accumulate. I'm up to chapter 8 and I've yet to use a healing item!

It also feels a lot slower-paced with loads of wandering around, breaking chests and smashing up scenery for money (especially those market/town areas at the start).

Still, the gameplay itself is excellent and there have been some epic boss battles.
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.

Currently playing through the 13th Doll, which launched a few weeks ago, and had been in development for quite some time, after being successfully funded on KS.

Overall I'm REALLY enjoying it. A few nights ago I finished playing through as "Tad", and have started a second play through as the character "Doctor Richmond". The games path changes quite a bit from character to character with completely different rooms and puzzles.

I'd only recommend the game to fans of the 7th Guest and the 11th Hour as the game is essentially The 7th Guest 3, without that title. But it has the actor for Stauff returning to reprise his role from the previous 2 games. So it's the 7th Guest 3 totally. I'm a massive fan of 7th Guest and the 11th Hour, so I'm very much the target demographic. If you've not played the prior 2 games, then you'll likely not get the premise, style of the FMVs and the gameplay. So only for fans of the previous games.

Spent a fair few hours today trying the Yakuza 7 demo (which was released nice and early ahead of its Jan 2020 release). I love it. Its strange, its an RPG now yet dipping into how the combat works reveals that its actually pretty deep in some aspects. Some hilarious enemy designs (the most creative the series has ever been), some hilarious side stories, tons of activities and it all round looks great. Day 1 import for sure.

Switch V-Rally 4 - yes, it's as bad as a lot of the reviews.
Switch Astral Chain - incredible anime-inspired adventure from the designers of Neir: Automata.

GPD Colin Mcrae Rally 2, Galahad and Golden Axe 3 via Retroarch
