Of the two, Theme Park. I bored with Sim City pretty quickly.

Theme Hospital betters the pair of them put together though. I still don't quite understand why that never got followed up.

I know there's a buggy unofficial Android port, but an official version would surely clean up across iOS and Android.

For now, best I can do on the move is the PS1 version on a PSP, but the controls are outrageously confusing.

Sim City, I've always liked the idea of building your city and make the citizens happy more. Though I'd choose Utopia on the Amiga (building a space colony, improving tech level, fighting alien races? Oh, yes) over them both any day.

I'm more a sim city guy myself, theme park is fun but I just prefer city management over theme park building, also I find sim city much more user friendly.

Sim city for me, although I didn't care for societies.
Theme Park is a good game too, but lacks the long term aspect to sim city.

Has anyone tried Cities XL, quite enjoy that one too. Perhaps less in depth than simcity, but looks good and I can play for hours at a time easily.

I'd probably go for Sim City as it had more long-term value. I could never get past the first country on Theme Park if I upped the level above easy, and sometimes I hated losing my brilliantly (to me, at least) designed parks when I had to move up a level.

I'm another who would have picked Theme Hospital given a third option.

Theme park was amazing, one of the reasons I sold my ms in the late 90s was that I preferred this along with f1 gp2 to the games on the md

there was an odd cheat where if you held down i think it was shift and c it gave you 50k every time you pressed it, I just used to hold my finger down for ages, get about 40mil build an awesome theme park and when it was inevitably not making a profit shift and c again

although it brought up your achievement level as 0% and cheater, cheeky sods i learned that cheat fairly and squarely

For myself it's Theme Park.

I tried Sim City 2000 years ago, but couldn't get into it, but in the time since I did get the SNES Sim City, which is enjoyable enough. Theme Park trumps it for me though.

As the others have said though, Theme Hospital trumps both of those in so many ways.
