I had a 2600 but I think the game that really got me interested was an arcade game called Cabal. Had it in a pub in my home town and used to play it for ages. Managed to call a glitch once but accidently plugging it out and plugging it back in, got 50 credits!
After that I asked for a Mario All-stars SNES pack for X-mas. I played that game so much that my mother still recognises the music 15 years later!

the atari game crystal castles in the arcades, with the red, glowing trackerball. that game was so magical and imaginative, even though i can see now how much it was built on the pac-man concept.

Hello All!
For me it would have had to be the Roland games on the CPC.
In particular Roland On The Ropes and Roland In The Caves ooh and Roland Ahoy!
My love for games just expanded with the CPC with games Like Auf Wiedesen Monty, Rick Dangerous and then Target Renegade.
Boy they were the days
