Nothing, actually. I like to pretend that there's a giant trampoline at the bottom that the game doesn't bother to show you.

It's not strictly retro, but would the one from Double Dragon Neon count? It's more Ninja Gaiden than Double Dragon, but still.

Don't forget the crazy continue screen image you get in bangai-o on the n64 and dreamcast of riki following a ghost naked :shock: near choked when I first saw that image. Treasure were smoking something that day
