Usually I'd just fill a list like this with
Tekken 2 music but I'll list three more of my favourites instead (of which there are many!):
Force Your Way (
Final Fantasy VIII boss theme)
London Stage (
Capcom Vs SNK 2)
Fighting in the Street (
Streets of Rage Remake version)
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.

Just 3? I could make a top 20 with Final Fantasy music alone! I'll go with
Final Fantasy VII - Those who Fight
Tales of the Abyss - The Meaning of Birth
Golden Sun - Felix's Battle Theme.
I asked for orange. It gave me lemon lime!

Magical sound shower, anyone using anything else on outrun is an uncouth heathen lol
Spy hunter whatever that called (is in blues brothers too)
The elder scrolls one (I remb most from morrowind but now has words in skyrim)
Close runner up, Star Wars thru the arcade sit down speakers
May be able do better but those are the ones that come to mind first
