Anyone looking forward to the recent Team 17 announcement?
We'd love to hear your thoughts.

Not interested. Not because he's not Sonic though. Super Frog is OK, I just couldn't give a crap about remakes.

He was just one of the many Sonic wannabes that arrived during the early 90's and best left in the past in my opinion.

Superfrog... My all time fave Amiga platformer. Sonic and Mario just didn't do it for me. Love the comedy side of the game and wished they had done Superfrog 2 :).

Isn't this just heading to PS3 though? Need it on eggbox, Wii-u or better still... On the PC

Super Frog was such a pretty game, but it was way too harsh to play for me.

Depends on how the remake ends up. The original game was trying to be Sonic without realizing every thing that made Sonic so enduring. An appealing main character, cohesive level design, mechanics like the spin jump that worked WITH the speed, not against it... Super Frog had none of that. And making you run around and collect coins to open up the level is a stupid idea for a Sonic-style game. Jazz Jackrabbit could kick Superfrog's ass any day.

Superfrog (on the Amiga, let's forget the DOS version) was awesome, excellent playability, frenetic but not too much, intelligent password system... it blows Sonic and Mario out of the water  So, I'm really interested... hope Team 17 gets it right. And that they will revisit their other games next...

About as disinterested as if Zool or Bubsy made a comeback.

Zool was rumoured. Some guys are trying to get the license, spoke to them at Games Britannia

Bubsy was killed off after Bubsy 3D
