What game would you love to have your memory wiped with and experience again for the very first time, and why?

Both Shenmue's for sure, I loved the atmopshere and story of both. Ditto for both Mafia games and the Yakuza games. Oh, and probably Megaman 1-10 as well, I know them so well now they aren't anywhere near as challenging as they once were!

Final Fantasy VII. The music, the characters, the story, that final boss battle. It redefined gaming for me.

Advance Wars.

Games like FF7, Mario 3, Tetris or Vice City won't have the same impact these days as they either have sequels that build on their success or have been ripped off so often they won't feel new, I'll just wonder what all the fuss is about.

Luckily Fire Emblem is the only game I can think of that is directly comparable to Advance Wars so it should retain it's initial addictiveness (I don't play more hardcore SRPGs like Disgaea).

Banjo Kazooie.

I honestly think it's a much better game than Super Mario 64, much more full of character and humour, and pretty much every world in the game made me smile. Absolutely love the soundtrack too. I'd love to recapture that feeling I got from climbing to the top of the lighthouse in Treasure Trove Cove for the first time and looking around the world for the first time.

I'd also love to have Conker's Bad Fur Day wiped from my memory so I could play it again like a new game....the 'Sloprano' stage with the giant opera singing turd absolutely cracked me up when I first heard it sing, I wasn't expecting anything like that at all and it caught me completely off guard.

2, 3 and 9 especially as those are both the ones that are etched in my mind and because they have some of my favourite boss battles/levels that I'd love to experience for the first time all over again.

Providing I could play them in the same mindset i.e. so I don't have better examples, modern knock-offs, remakes or sequels to make the games have less impact than they had on me back when I first played them...

Final Fantasy VIII
Yakuza
(whole series)
Spyro the Dragon 1-3
Medievil
Darkstalkers
The Last Story
Tekken 2
Resident Evil 4
Streets of Rage 2
GTA III/Vice City/San Andreas/Liberty City Stories/Vice City Stories

Hell...there are loads!

I would have to say:

Final Fantasy VII + VIII
Zelda: A Link to the Past
Fallout 3 & New Vegas
Skyrim
Mass Effect Trilogy
