Fairly sure in the arcades it would be either Pole Position or Battlezone. At home it was most likely Jet set willy or Ghosts n Goblins as we had our first spectrum for a family christmas present and apart from the included games that we ignored GnG was the only other game we had. First game I chose (of my own volition) to play at home was most likely to be Chequered Flag or Disco Dan.

Not a great set of choices and maybe not even correct but the best I can recall right now.

Arcade was space invaders.....

Home, other than a binatone tv game, probably frogger or blue meanies from outer space on the Vic 20.

Pole Position on the Atari 2600, i can still remember that my mother beat me by several hundred points.
"By what name are you known?"
"There are some who call me... 'Tim'...?"
"greetings, Tim the Enchanter."

Think it was either Phoenix or something very similar to Sega's Turbo on a caravan site.

At home it was Crazy Chase on the Philips Videopac.
