Yea I saw this last night, I really hope it reaches its goal.

The closest we are probably going to get to an updated version of Scud Race.

I used to love Scud Race, why didn't Sega ever get a home version on the Saturn or Dreamcast ?

Did a blog about this and pledged a tenner. Seems perfect as a downloadable title.

It may become the first game I actually pledge towards. And I don't even have a PC to play it on.

yep, this is how kickstarter SHOULD work

10 quid and you get the game

the guy isn't a big studio

he isn't asking for millions

and the reward you get for pledging is in line with what you spend

I was going to pledge a tenner until I noticed he spelt "off" wrong in the closing statement. So that got knocked down to £5. :D

On a more serious note - it does look superb. Daytona was the ONLY racing game I had any love for in the arcades, although Virtua Racing had a fair bit of my money too.

Hope to see this gets the funding required as I would love to see the final product.

I like the sound of some of the ideas mooted if the the secondary £20K target is met - the day and night sections sound like they would add a lot of atmosphere, yet I doubt that target will be met.

Here's hoping it get's the green light regardless!

Looks fantastic, even if I'm more fond of 80's racers... I'm seriously thinking about pledging some € on it.

He can't be bothered to spell check his kickstarter page, so that doesn't bode well for quality control on a whole game. I'll pass.

Eh? Game looks excellent and you wont support due to spelling mistakes on his kickstarter page

But you'll buy and support a retro gaming magazine that has more spelling errors in it on a monthly basis than a 8 year olds English work. Made me laugh, thanks

I've got an 8year old. Can't say I see any resemblance in RG and his work.
