I know this is one of the many SF II clones, but I think it's a great game and a great brand.

The Bogard brothers were ace!

Only ever owned the SNES version of the orginal Fatal Fury and in all honestly i thought that street frighter would have bullied it if they had been at school together. Given it a wedgy and nicked all its dinner money, they triped it over as it walked off. In short, no, i wasnt a huge fan....but then again i shelled out £59.99 on import back when it came out and i felt robbed!

Yeah I love the Fatal Fury games, I always prefered them to the Street Fighter II titles.

I have the brilliant Saturn version of Real Bout Special

Garou: Mark of the Wolves is the only game in the series that I tend to play.

I always found that game to be very overrated considering the hype it's got.

The original Fatal Fury was in development when the original SF II was released, so it is unfair to call it a clone.

I like the series a lot. One of these days I'll have to write a book about SNK's fighting games, as some people think Capcom invented every fighting game innovation ever made. :)

I really like Fatal Fury, Real Bout Special being my favourite so far. The first couple of games felt a little rough though.

the backgrounds are great, the games are average, not in the same class as the likes of Virtua Fighter

Bit of a strange comparison. Like saying Contra isn't in the same class as Doom. Very different games apart from the fact they are both fighters.
