The double ship from Galaga or the triple dock from Moon Cresta, can't decide which.

1. Quad Damage - Quake 3

Nothing gave you a bigger buzz than timing the drop of quad damage power up on a packed Free-for-all server on Quake, getting it, and going completely besserk with the plasma gun or rocket launcher

The leaf from Super Mario Bros. 3. I still remember the feeling when I first flew to the top of the level.

Well this is easy - it's clearly when Michael Jackson turns into a robot in the Moonwalker arcade game. Owwwww!

Although I also would like to say the moment in Thunderforce 5 when your ship gets all the add-on armour in the final stage - that is a spine-tingling moment when the heavy metal music kicks in and you get super-powered. But I doubt many people know that one... :(

The first one that sprung to mind was the super blue power-up in Raiden, once you get that you are near enough unstoppable!

I always liked the extra planes in 1942, I suppose you would have to say the pill in pac man.

The orb thingy in R-Type. Being able to attach it to the front or back added a new dimension and was invaluable for levels like number 3 (the giant spaceship).

The E-Swat Cyber Police in Streets of Rage 2

I'd say it was more of a special movie, and it was SOR1, not SOR2

Golden armour in Ghouls and Ghosts. Since it actually gave you a chance of surviving!
I asked for orange. It gave me lemon lime!
