Master System 3D Glasses On Flatscreen TV

Post by Managarm » Thu Nov 08, 2012 12:06 pm

Does anyone know if the Master System's 3D glasses will work on a plasma/LCD/LED TV? I Googled it but some said it does, some said it doesn't, and others were talking about adjusting refresh rates.

Thanks,
Robin.

It will very much depend on the telly.

It would have to run at 50Hz (for a PAL system) and not do any image correction. Typically on a flat panel they'll not do the interlacing properly, showing both fields twice instead of half and half. As you end up with a blend of the two images needed for the 3D glasses, that won't work.

I've never seen an lcd type tv that can work with the glasses or the gun. You will probably need a crt!
